The amazing Lynette Morgan and The Blackwater Valley Boys will be serenading us at the May Country Soul. Lynette and the boys have been playing together for 20 years blending a creative mix of old time country, western swing and cowboy songs to produce an authentic sound driven by their passion for the genre.
The Bear Flag Trio
We are delighted that Californian outfit The Bear Flag Trio will be joining us for the May Country Soul Sessions. Playing a mix of originals and well chosen covers The Bear Flag Trio play a blend of hillbilly boogie, honky tonk, rockabilly and country music that is rooted firmly in the music that emanated from California during the 1940s and 50s. Together since 2013 trio members Kathleen Harvey (Vocals & tenor guitar), Johnny Stuart (Vocals, electric & steel guitars, bass) & Chris Harvey (Vocals, bass & electric guitar) have had successful tours of Japan, Belgium & Spain and have played several notable music festivals.
